WHO NEEDS A FLU SHOT?

First, everyone over the age of 6 months should get one.  

The confusing part is who needs one and who needs two:  

• Children who are at least 9 years old need only one.

• Children under 9 who have never received a flu vaccine need two.

Second doses should be four weeks after the first.

Please note that all dates are subject to change due to the availability of the vaccine.  Please check this website often as we will update you with information once it becomes available.

Valencia Pediatric Associates Flu Clinics will be held the following Saturdays:

• January 14, 2012
  9:00 AM – 12:00 PM

Flu vaccines will be given to established patients ONLY and their immediate family members.  If we have a current insurance on file, we will bill the child’s insurance for the flu or the intranasal vaccine.  Immediate family will be charged $35.00 for the flu vaccine or $50.00 for intranasal vaccine with payment provided at the time the service is received. 

For immediate family members please complete the following consent form and bring it with you to the flu clinic.
