Appointments

• Request Well Care appointments via the Patient Portal, at any time, from any internet device.
• Call between 8:00 AM and 4:30 PM Monday through Friday to schedule your child’s appointments.
• We suggest you call and schedule well child appointments as far ahead as possible, so that you have the best selection of dates and times.  We typically schedule two months in advance.
• We make every effort to schedule your appointment with the doctor of your choice.  There are times when your doctor is not available or already fully booked.   If that is the case, we encourage you to try one of the other doctors in the group.
  Walk in and Same Day appointments will be made with the Doctor on call.  Any specific doctor requests will delay your appointment.
• If you are a new patient please plan to arrive 15 minutes before your scheduled appointment.  For established patients please arrive on time.
• If you are more than 15 minutes late for a scheduled physical exam appointment, we may reschedule the appointment for a later date.
• Realizing that your time is as valuable as ours, we make every effort to be on time for you and your child.  Conditions do arise where there may be occasional delays because of a patient emergency.  Our staff will always do its best to inform you, and if necessary, make alternate arrangements with another pediatrician if such a delay occurs.
• Visits are categorized as “well visits” and “sick visits.”  Both types of appointments are an important part of comprehensive medical care.  During a well-child visit, we are concerned with observing growth and development, counseling and parent education, detecting illness early through screening examinations and laboratory tests, preventing illness through immunizations, and getting to know one another.  Well-care and sick-care visits are scheduled separately. 
• If during the course of well-exam the physician identifies a diagnosis that requires management and treatment, there may be an additional fee for the service.  You may want to contact your insurance carrier ahead of time to inquire as to whether your policy covers same-day sick and well visits. 
• As a courtesy, our offices will confirm all scheduled appointments 48 hours in advance.  Missed appointments will be assessed a fee of $35 for well checks and $20 for others.  Well checks must be cancelled 24 hours in advance.

NOTE:  Please bring any preschool, school, sports, or college forms with you at the time of your visit, and we will fill them out at that time, at no additional charge.  If you are dropping off any forms at our office, at a time you have no appointment; please note there is a charge for this service.  Please see our billing page for a list of these fees.
